OVERVIEW

Australian ceramicist and designer, Milly Dent, reimagines the everyday through handcrafted ceramic tableware, sculpture, and lighting. From her signature porcelain pieces to the exploration of light and shadow through sculptural ceramic form – Milly’s distinct works have sold and exhibited at various prominent institutions and galleries including the Sydney Opera House, The Museum of Contemporary Art Shop, Sainte Cloche Gallery and the Australian Design Centre.

In 2022, Milly engaged HIMMEL to help craft an updated ‘About’ section of her website that explored both herself as an artist and Milly Dent – the Studio. This copy needed to engage a range of audiences from peers to customers, press and beyond.

RESULT

An updated ‘About’ page that effectively and creatively communicates the purpose and vision of Milly’s work, as well as that of her studio. This work was then extended to cover various copy touchpoints throughout the website including consistent messaging regarding the studio’s sustainability practices and headline copy for the homepage. This copy was all crafted to ensure a consistent Tone of Voice that was familiar to Milly and her audience.
